The first PBCvN documentary will feature film, video games, music and other popular entertainment on the upcoming PBS Channel.
The documentary is set to be released on PBS in the spring.
The project will examine how children’s programming has evolved over the years to reflect current social and cultural issues.
“There is no way to predict how a particular series or genre of programming will be received,” says the PBS Channel blog.
The series will also include an array of documentaries about the history of the PBS brand, including the original “PBS” series and “The First 30 Years.”””

“The first episode of the series will explore PBS’s impact on the development of children’s entertainment in the U.S.,” said Gugginheim.
“It will examine the ways that our brands are impacting the lives of millions of kids each day, and why that’s a critical moment in our culture.”
The first episode will be available online on May 14.”
