A new solar film can be a lifesaver for Tesla vehicles.
The film protects the windshield and roof of Tesla cars from the sun’s harmful rays, according to a Tesla blog post.
Tesla says the film can protect from 50% to 80% of the sunlight hitting the car’s windshield.
Tesla says the solar film is made from a polyimide film that is made up of nanofibers.
The new film has been developed at Tesla’s factory in Fremont, California.
The factory makes film that’s compatible with solar panels.
The company says the films are safe for cars of all ages.
The Tesla team at the factory is testing the film on vehicles that are not in production.
The film has already been tested on two Tesla Model S electric cars that have not yet been certified for sale by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.
The Tesla cars were released in the first quarter of 2018.
The carmaker says the new solar films are not as effective as traditional solar filters.
“Solar filters are designed to absorb light and block out all but the most harmful wavelengths, but they are designed for use with certain types of light,” the company said in a statement.
“The Tesla film does not absorb all the wavelengths that our solar filters can, and it’s not clear why it’s the most effective filter when used with a high-energy spectrum.”
In contrast, our film does absorb some of the wavelengths of sunlight that are most harmful, and the Tesla film is designed to be safe to use on all solar-emitting surfaces, including mirrors and solar panels.
“The Tesla Model 3, Tesla’s flagship sedan, launched in November 2019.
The Model 3 was designed to replace the Model S, a car that has been around for over 30 years.
The new Model 3 will be unveiled at the end of January in Las Vegas.
