How to get rid of carpet protection or the protective film that covers the windows and doors of your house?
The answer is to use a carpet protection adhesive or adhesive tape.
These two products are available in various forms: carpet protection tape, carpet protection vinyl, carpet protector vinyl acetate and carpet protector film.
But how do you get rid the carpet protection coating?
The first step is to remove the protective coating from the surface of the carpet.
It’s done by placing a small amount of acetate on the surface and then gently wiping off any excess acetate from the carpet surface.
After that, you can use a damp cloth to gently remove the carpet and then wipe the acetate off.
The next step is removing the adhesive film from the vinyl acetates.
It will be easiest to remove this from the acetates when they are damp, as acetate is sticky.
To remove the film, simply rub the acetated vinyl against the surface to remove any excess.
A sticky acetate can be removed using a damp towel or wet cloth.
This method will work for a carpet coating, but for most types of carpet, you’ll want to get the adhesive tape off the vinyl film first.
To get the carpet protector to adhere to the surface, you will need to carefully peel the adhesive.
