Posted October 10, 2020 16:13:23Apple has been working on a new smartphone, and while there is no word yet on when we can expect to see it, one analyst is predicting that the company will release it before the end of the year.
According to a new report from Strategy Analytics, the iPhone 6 is set to be unveiled in a September launch window that will be followed by a second iPhone 6, and the third iPhone 6 Plus.
It’s not clear what the exact differences will be between the two phones, but there are some interesting tidbits in the report that should help you make up your mind.
First of all, the report notes that Apple is targeting the iPhone SE as its “most popular device.”
That’s a surprising statement given that the iPhone 5S was the most popular iPhone in the US, and that the new iPhone SE will be the most powerful iPhone yet.
The company is targeting a $500 price point, but the analyst also said that the device will have a larger battery than the 5S.
It’ll also have a “more attractive design,” which will likely be a design that doesn’t require an external battery.
The iPhone SE also has a “better camera” and “better performance” compared to the iPhone 7, according to the report, which is also interesting considering the iPhone 8 is slated to launch later this year.
Apple also has “more affordable premium devices,” the analyst said, which should help it sell more units.
Finally, there are also some major new features that the analyst thinks Apple should make available in the iPhone.
Specifically, he’s talking about the “safer, more efficient” design of the iPhone X, which he believes will be used by the company to make iPhones with “more powerful processors.”
Apple has made no secret that the upcoming iPhone X will be more powerful than the iPhone, which could mean that the next iPhone will have an extra chip in the chipset, but if the analyst’s prediction is accurate, we could see the iPhone’s performance increase as a result of that extra processor.
We’ll find out whether the analyst is right or wrong when Apple’s next iPhone, rumored to be codenamed “iPhone 8,” is officially announced at its WWDC keynote next week.
